If a particular clock has a different return policy, it will be listed on its detail page. Most of our clocks are returnable under this policy. Only a couple of cuckoo clocks are not returnable, due to their very large size. For grandfather clocks, see the return policy on one of the grandfather clock pages.
You may return a clock for credit toward another clock within 15 days of receipt. If the clock is a gift, the recipient may exchange it within 15 days of receiving it (but no more than 3 months after the original purchase date). There will be no charge for the exchange if we ship the replacement by UPS ground. Follow our return instructions below. Note: For grandfather clocks, you will need to pay for shipping of the new clock (typically $350), as well as pay the return shipping for the first clock.

You may return a grandfather clock for a refund within 15 days of receipt. To return a grandfather clock, you'll need to pay the return shipping to Bill's Clockworks. The clock must be returned in its original packaging in like-new condition for a refund to be given. The refund will be the amount you paid, less the amount Bill's Clockworks paid to have the clock shipped to you (typically $350).

Any clock sent back to Bill's Clockworks must be in unused condition and in the original packing with all paperwork. Remove any batteries. DO NOT write on the box - use an address label over the original label. The customer is responsible for shipping and insurance to Bill's Clockworks.
Our clocks are fully guaranteed. If an item is not working properly, call us at 1-888-742-5625 or e-mail and we may be able to help you make adjustments. Adjustments such as putting it in beat and adjusting the chimes need to be done by the owner (because they can change during shipping).
It the item is indeed defective, we will arrange for a replacement to be sent.
