Hermle Clocks FAQ

Where are Hermle clocks made?

Hermle movements are made in Germany. The cases are made in Germany or China. The cases from both contries are very well finished. The Chinese cases in particular are noted for their very smooth, polished finishes.

What is the difference between a striking and a chiming clock?

A chiming clock plays the chime melody every quarter hour. A striking clock will bong the number of the hour each hour and will bong once on the half hour. A clock with "passing bell strike" strikes the bell a single time at the hour

How quickly will I get my Hermle clock?

If the clock is in stock at my store, or at Hermle Black Forest Clocks in Amherst, Virginia, it will be usually be shipped out within 1 - 2 business days after we receive your order. UPS ground shipping typically takes 2 - 6 business days, depending on where it is being shipped in the USA.
