Morbier clocks are popular and widespread in France and Switzerland, originating mostly from the French regions. They emerged at the end of the 17th Century and were produced in large numbers up to the beginning of the 20th Century. They can be easily recognized by their hammered-brass dial.

This example is very rare and exceptional because the ENTIRE CLOCK is made by hand including the movement! This heirloom piece is an intstant collector's item that makes a statement on any wall.

This fine Morbier is hand made in Germany by an independant skilled clockmaker. There are very few of these available and are very collectible. Traditional Morbier mechanism is HAND MADE in Germany. Traditional Comptoise hour and half-hour bell strike with 5-after repeater. Large and sonorous cast brass bell. 8-day mechanism. Enamel dial with hand-painted accents. Intricate, hammered relief. Warranty: Two years.

This item will be shipped for free within the 48 continental United States. The free shipping is by UPS Ground or Priority Mail, at our option.

Free shipping does not apply to shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, or outside of the United States.

If you return the clock for a refund, the amount we paid to have the clock shipped is not refunded.

Our clocks will normally be shipped within two business days of receipt of order, and will be delivered approximately 3 - 5 business days after that (in the continental US). If there will be a delay in shipping, we will notify you, and give you the option of canceling your order. Expedited delivery is available at extra charge.
