This clock is an authentic replica of a Black Forest clock of the early Nineteenth Century. The Hand-carved and hand-painted figure eats a dumpling, counting the hours and once on the half-hour. His eyes move, arm moves, dumpling moves, and the mouth opens and chews. This clock features an enamel dial and antique brass weights. German-made brass mechanism. Hour and half-hour strike on gong. A Romba original! Warranty: Two Years.

Before the cuckoo came into vogue many other animated figures were used on Black Forest clocks. The Bell-Ringing Monk, Laughing Face, and Dumpling Eater were charming examples.

This item will be shipped for free within the 48 continental United States. The free shipping is by UPS Ground or Priority Mail, at our option.

If you return the clock for a refund, the amount we paid to have the clock shipped is not refunded.

Our clocks will normally be shipped within two business days of receipt of order, and will be delivered approximately 3 - 5 business days after that (in the continental US).
